Continuing along with the well-known brand, Motorola took the opportunity to announce the Motorola DROID four today at CES 2012 in Las Vegas. Specifications consist of a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch qHD display, eight-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, and Android 2.3 with Motorola’s custom UI. It is a nice design and style change that closely resembles the present Motorola appear and really feel, but thanks to the 4G LTE connectivity, the gadget no longer has world-wide roaming capabilities. Wow way to recycle the Droid razor
@AntVenom4 this CES 2012 ATT got most of the good phones. HTC Titan II, Sony Xperia ion, samsung galaxy note, nokia lumia 900. and they’re going to get the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket HD. if u have tmobile or sprint, well ur fucked

Global was important. Also, can you swap out the battery? That was one of the advantages of Android phones over iPhones, but Motorola gave it up on the Razr.
I had a droid 1, 2 global and now I have a droid 3 but i’m skips this one.

@mysticalmalissa Upgrading to the D3 was a hasty mistake. I almost caved but I’m glad I waited. This is the first proper update to the original Droid.

Motorola unfortunately forgot the difference between opening and closing an app and going forward/back. Going forward and back shows the opening/closing transition every time; very annoying.
Fooled me once with the shit-razr but never again.
I bet 5000$ that the BlackBerry Bold 9900′s keyboard is better than that…

thanks to this phone’s kevlar, i just survived a bullet shot..i am not joking to promote this phone . may it was just a coincidence that the phone came between my chest and bullet. I thank myself for buying this phone. (although phone has hole now and is not working)

Strange. I compared this phone with my GS2 Skyrocket at a Besbuy and came away with the impression that the clarity on this display (due to the pixel density) was better, but the display itself just wasn’t as pleasant to look at as the GS2. I’ll have to do another comparison.

going to have to agree here… i found your speech impediment to be quite aggravating. It makes you sound like a 4yr old baby. 30% of the words coming out of your mouth were a form of grunting mixed with slurred syllables and a mild sense of frustration.
